With sadness and slight regret I submitted a 2 week notice of resignation back on April 7, 2009.<br /><div></div><br /><div>The sales person in me was even more disdained because my pipeline of was just on the verge of bearing more fruit. But I knew the NACA process well enough to know that it may be another 60-90 days before they would all begin to close. </div><div> </div><div>The picture in this post was taken on March 18, 2009. This family is so deserving of what they achieved in homeownership. They have an interest rate of below 2% fixed for 30yrs. They worked so hard to get through the process and I was blessed to be able to be apart of their achievement. They were the 1st NACA Members to close a loan in Nashville, Tennessee! </div><br /><div></div><div>The day before my last day of work; I was humbled when I received an offer to function as the Office Manager for the Nashville office. The position came with the same hours that I'd been working but it had also a modest salary...no more draw/commission. I was thrilled to be able to continue doing that that I loved AND feed my family. That all happened on a Monday. </div><br /><div></div><div>On Friday, I followed up to receive the correspondence detailing the offer and learned that the terms offered on Monday were no longer going to be provided.</div><div></div><br /><div>I was very hurt, disappointed and upset. </div><br /><div></div><div>All things aside, we had 40+ members registered to attend a Homebuyer Workshop the following day at the Word of Life Christian Center. The NACA workshop was the highlight of my employment. I absolutely loved being able to educate people in a fun and straigtforward way. </div><br /><div></div><div>On Monday, I received a call from the State of Tennessee confirming that the offer they presented previously was still valid and to begin the process immediately of getting fingerprinted/background check etc. After getting that phone call; I packed up my office and left NACA.</div><br /><div></div><div>My only regret is that I did not stop and give each of my members a personal phone call to say, "goodbye." So it is with this post that I am attempting some form of redemption in that area. </div><br /><div></div><div>So, to each and every one of the families that I had the privilege of working with:</div><div></div><br /><div>"Thank you. I apologize that I did not reach out to you individually to say goodbye and transistion accordingly, but I hope you understand that I made the best decision for me and my family at the time. NACA knows that access to the internet is access to information. You will be asked to utilize a computer and internet throughout the NACA process.
